These adorable wooden animals have been in Japan for over 10 years.

Polepole (poh-leh poh-leh) meaning slowly, slowly in Swahili describes how these little guys are created. Each animal is hand carved from a soft light wood and then hand-painted with the sweetest expressions and patterns. Due to their handcrafted nature, each polepole animal is slightly different.

The T-Lab collection does not only include this cute Christmas Polar Bear, there is a whole menagerie of monochrome animals to collect.

This handmade wooden Polar Bear is perfect for gentle play or displaying on a desk or shelf.
